HFC/GLYCOL
HFC hydraulic fluids are water-glycol based solutions designed for fire-resistant hydraulic systems, combining high water content with reliable lubrication and safe operation in high-risk environments.
HFC (Hydraulic Fluid Type C): This is a classification for water-polymer solutions, also commonly known as water-glycol fluids. These fluids are required to have a water content of at least 35%. They are the most common type of water-based, fire-resistant hydraulic fluids due to their effectiveness in preventing fires and their good lubrication properties.
Glycol: The fluid consists of a mixture of water and a glycol, such as ethylene or diethylene glycol.
